Over the past decade, Adform Interiors has successfully delivered a diverse range of interior construction projects at the 60,000 ft2 RTX Technology Research Center (RTRC) campus in East Hartford, CT. These projects have ranged from the renovation of breakrooms to the construction of cutting-edge laboratories, showcasing our versatility and expertise.

Given the scale and complexity of the various projects at the former United Technologies Research Center, we share the construction manager role with the center’s facilities team. Our client, RTRC, has all the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) responsibilities. They oversee everything related to the building infrastructure. Adform Interiors is responsible for everything construction-related.

In effect, Adform is part of the RTRC facilities team. Together, we set the project schedule and hold weekly meetings to ensure that each project’s work is completed smoothly by our respective trades.

Over the years and for over $3 million of dollars’ worth of projects listed below, sharing the construction manager role with RTRC works well. RTRC coordinates architects, engineers, and MEP contractors. Adform Interiors manages all the construction trades responsible for carpentry, drywall and ceilings, glass windows and partitions, flooring, painting, and more—two labs required blast-resistant construction experts and static-control specialists.
